Configuration: requirements and attributes

1 min read

Configuration is where you register the identifiers ThreatHarvest should monitor. The product calls these requirements (information requirements) and attributes (the concrete values under each requirement).

Requirements list

The Configuration home lists each requirement with its short description and how many attributes you have configured. Open a requirement to manage its attributes.

Requirement detail

Each requirement page includes:

  • Name and short description
  • Configuration Guidance
  • Monitored sources summary
  • Attribute type sections with add/remove controls

Adding an attribute

Enter a value in the Add Attribute field for the matching type and choose Add. Adding an attribute turns monitoring on for that value.

Use REMOVE on an attribute card when you no longer want it monitored. When an attribute is removed, it remains until the end of the current monthly billing period, then is removed along with associated findings.

Additional Guidance

Refer to the Configuration Guidance on every requirement before adding values. Each page generally highlights a Do not warning for common mistakes (for example, do not add domains you do not own on Account Compromise).

Placeholder examples in the UI use patterns such as example.com and sample public IPs — use your own identifiers, not illustrative third-party values.
